My parents are dead and I’m on TikTok

Greetings from Florida, where I’ve just discovered that one of my dad’s life insurance policies has to go through probate court, which means I need to hire a lawyer. Fun!

I’ve had a TikTok account for a while. When I bought my house, I had some fun making “clueless millennial attempts home repairs” videos, but then my dad got diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, and I mostly forgot TikTok existed. But I’ve decided to make like the Zoomers and get back on there. Why?

1) The more people who find this website, the more people it can help.

2) I desperately want to avoid becoming like the Boomers I used to work with who refused to learn even the simplest technologies. (#NotAllBoomers—I know, I know.)

If TikTok is your jam, you can find me over at @rebb003. (That’s my handle on All The Things, for what it’s worth.) Here’s my latest video for your viewing pleasure.
