My dead parents are going to the library

Sometimes people ask me why I moved to Louisville, puzzled that I would willingly come to Kentucky, of all places. First: those people are snobs.* Second, there is tons of cool stuff going on in Louisville—I am literally never bored.

One example: every year the Louisville Free Public Library does this amazing event called the How-To Festival. For five hours, local experts give 50+ “how-to” presentations—everything from raising chickens to playing the violin.

And this year, I’ll be one of those experts! Come see me at LFPL’s main branch on May 11 at 1pm for my presentation: How to prepare for death and have fun doing it!

Convenient flyer for sharing purposes:

On top of a skeleton appears the following text: How to Prepare for Death And Have Fun Doing It! At LFPL's 11th annual How-To Festival! May 11, 1pm, 301 York St. deadparentswhatnow.com

Hope to see you all there!

*Unless they have concerns for their health or safety thanks to laws passed by the idiots in the KY state legislature, which is totally valid.
